GIARDIN Food & Art Oasis – Cozy Venetian Dining with Garden Bliss & Local Flavors

Super friendly host who made us feel very welcome! We sat in the relaxing garden and had a lovely time. The food was some of the best we’ve had! Definitely try out this restaurant/ cafe as they only opened recently and will definitely grow!

This is a lovely little restaurant just outside the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The atmosphere was perfect with a cute little fire place and nice low lighting which makes you feel right at home. The staff were so kind and friendly which made the experience all the more welcoming. The food was amazing, especially the codfish which was perfectly tender and paired perfectly with their special of the day: lasagne, Which was creamy and flavourful. The wine selection was all local wineries picked by the owner himself. We also had delicious cheesecake and espresso. It was the perfect end to our night. You can’t go wrong with this place I would recommend to anybody.

amazing cozy place that just opened a week ago. owners are super sweet and welcoming, food and coffee were also nice. they have a beautiful hidden terrace and lots of seating. a hidden gem right now but will probably become super popular soon (and well deserved!)

Stunning setting near the park. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped for a spritz+beer and also enjoyed the most delicious vegetable and seafood dish that was recommended by the owner. Outstanding quality of food. Very friendly service. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely lovely restaurant! We stumbled upon this when we were in the area and are so glad that we did! We sat in their back garden area which was so beautiful. We had the cauliflower and the seafood pasta and both dishes were delicious. Our server was also so kind and attentive. highly reccommend!

A wonderful place just outside the Biennale site at Giardini on Sant'Elena. We were able to have an excellent late lunch since they wisely keep the kitchen open until 2:30 pm. The atmosphere is lovely, the food great, and service very friendly. We had two great antipasti, two wonderful risottos, a nice bottle of wine and split a dessert. It wasn't very economical (70€ a person), but we ordered the most expensive things on the menu. (Other clients were there enjoying the atmosphere with just pastry and coffee at that hour.) The raw fish platter was super fresh. The seafood risotto was one of the best we have had in a long time (and we live here in Venice!!) There are also many vegetarian options on the menu. The desserts are handmade by the owners. A very pleasant surprise to find this new place, now a obligatory stop after touring the Biennale!

Very nice local family run coffee shop! The owner was super friendly and excited to share about Venice with tourists (we were the tourists). They also let us play the piano as a bonus! Excellent service and beautiful space.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Visiting this place felt like finally taking a deep breath after a long day in the crowded center of Venice. We found an oasis we wouldn’t have dared to hope for. We were surrounded by greenery whose energy felt almost healing: oleanders in full bloom, and the tallest ficus we have ever seen, casting deep, generous shade that became a sanctuary from the Venetian sun. Beneath its branches, the children discovered a little play kitchen set in a natural, thoughtful setting just for them. It wasn’t just a token gesture – you could feel that the owners, being parents themselves, understand what children truly need: a safe corner, room for imagination, and the simple joy of play in nature. We discovered flavors that are so often lost under the weight of tourist compromises – tender octopus with lime cream, sweet fresh peas, roasted cauliflower, mussels, and fish so fresh it still carried the scent of the sea. Thank you for the piano music that tied it all together into one breathtaking experience.
